Perfectly located in the heart of Ermoupolis town in a marvelous historical building built on 1857 by George Greca a famous Greek architect of the time and its colorful ceilings painted by Italian artists creating a spectacular sight to impress the guests of its original owner, a rich Italian landlord named Matias Barabino who placed his initials and year of creation on the property’s balcony. Castro Hotel Syros was completely renovated with its historical elements carefully restored while its design and decoration was inspired by a harmonious fusion of glorious classical features and elegant modern touches.
