Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter has explained why her divorced parents have chosen to isolate together during the coronavirus outbreak.

A picture of the former couple wearing matching striped pyjamas went viral in April, leaving fans questioning why Willis was choosing to spend quarantine with Moore and not his wife of 11 years Emma Heming Willis and two young children.

However, 28-year-old daughter Scout Willis has set the record straight, explaining on the Dopey podcast that her stepfamily was meant to be joining them in Idaho, but an accident in Los Angeles had left them stranded.

“My stepmom was going to come up here too with my little sisters,” she said. “My younger sister… never gotten a talk about not f***ing with hypodermic needles… she found one and she actually tried to poke her shoe with it and poked her foot.

“So my stepmom had to be in LA waiting to get the results for taking her to the doctor. My dad came up here early and then travel got crazy and my stepmom stayed in LA with my little sisters.”

However, Willis admitted that she was enjoying spending time together with both parents and her two siblings, saying: “It’s kind of divine time to just hang out with them. I’m very grateful to be with my family.”

Moore and Willis have remained on good terms since splitting in 2000 after 13 years of marriage, with Willis remarrying in 2009.
