SLS Beverly Hills hotel named world’s number 1 by Conde Nast Traveler readers

The prestigious accolade was awarded to sbe in the recent announcement of Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2019.

With construction work on the sbe-managed SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences moving rapidly towards its handover deadline, the city is braced to welcome the award-winning hospitality brand to its hotel and real estate sector. 

The highly anticipated 75-story tower will be comprised of 254 expertly designed hotel rooms, 371 branded residential units, 321 hotel apartments and will be one of the tallest hotels and residences in the region. The property will also host stunning restaurant and entertainment venues, to be managed and operated by sbe.

SLS Beverly Hills being awarded ‘Number One Hotel in the World, the US and Los Angeles’ has been one of an impressive list of accolades sbe has received, with several of properties recently receiving high praise by the respected travel magazine and website.

sbe hotels ended up on several of Conde Nast’s highly influential ‘best of’ lists this year, including SLS Baha Mar which was named 24th on the ‘Top 25 Resorts in the Atlantic Islands’, the SLS South Beach as 17th and Shore Club as 18th on the ‘Top 20 Hotels in Miami’ list. Alongside, SLS Beverly Hills in 1st place, Mondrian Los Angeles was also listed 20th on the ‘Top 20 Hotels in Los Angeles’ list, and Mondrian Park Avenue was named 22nd of the ‘Top 30 Hotels in New York City’.

The SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences, a USD 550 million, 75-story development by World of Wonders Real Estate Development (WOW RED), is currently the fastest skyscraper construction in Dubai.

One of the region’s tallest hotels and residences, the tower boasts a diverse selection of branded residences, hotel apartments and hotel units. SLS will manage and operate the tower’s 321 hotel apartments and 254 hotel rooms, as well as manage the unique luxury F&B, entertainment and lifestyle venues throughout the property.

Spread over the building’s top floors, often referred to as ‘The Crown’, sbe will feature it’s renowned Mediterranean restaurant, Fi’lia, on the 70th floor, Skybar on the 71st floor, Carna Steakhouse on the 74th floor and their Privilege day lounge and night club venue on the 75th floor.

The Ciel Spa & Gym and vitamin bar will be located on the 69th floor with state-of-the-art meeting rooms on the 73rd floor. The tower’s two stunning infinity pools, located on the 75th floor, are the highest in Dubai and among the highest in the world.
