Story
The Kivotos journey began in 1993, when Spyros Michopoulos brought to life Greece’s first boutique hotel on Mykonos. Inspired by the Cycladic whites and island radiance he saw reflected in a French antique mirror, Michopoulos envisioned a refuge where art, culture, and hospitality converged. Thus, one of the island’s first 5-star hotels was born.

Over time, the vision was nurtured by Michopoulos and, later, his sons, Philip and Jason. Today, Kivotos Mykonos is an award-winning boutique hotel, designed with meticulous attention to detail. Its architecture fuses Cycladic hues with wood, stone, and Pentelic marble that sparkles under the Aegean sun. Outdoor spaces echo the charm of Mykonos’ iconic Little Venice, while interiors showcase handcrafted elements and individually styled rooms. Perched above a private beach, the property overlooks the azure waters of Ornos Bay, offering a chic, tranquil escape.
