He will also oversee the management of vehicles belonging to the Rhodes Regional Unit, including the Region’s cars and heavy machinery, with authority to sign the relevant administrative acts and issue travel authorizations for official regional vehicles operating within the Rhodes Regional Unit.

Mr. Efstratiou’s portfolio also includes civil protection and climate crisis matters for the Dodecanese Regional Units, the responsibilities of the independent Dodecanese PAM-PSEA Department, and volunteerism.

In addition, Regional Governor Hatzimarkos has appointed regional councillor Apostolos Asprakis as Deputy Regional Governor of the South Aegean Region.
