Stunning fireworks display planned for world’s tallest building to bring in start of 2020.

Residents and visitors to Dubai can have their New Year’s Eve message beamed up on the tallest building in the world.

On their official Instagram page, @BurjKhalifa has posted the competition to its followers, saying: “Share with us your wishes to your loved ones, friends or even your country for New Year’s 2020 and get the chance to be featured on the @BurjKhalifa!”

The messages won’t be the only thing lighting up Downtown Dubai on New Year’s Eve after it was announced by Dubai Tourism that the traditional fireworks display on the Burj Khalifa would be one of the star attractions for the emirate, with many thousands expected to witness the annual jaw-dropping display.

Meanwhile, for the first time ever the Dubai Frame will also be joining in the fireworks action, while displays are also planned for Palm Jumeirah and Global Village.
